Selected composers submitting works for Percussion Ensemble and Chamber Works with Percussion will receive an honorarium to defer travel costs. The amount awarded is based on the composer's age, education, and experience and is listed below:

- Three undergraduate composers - $200 each
- Three graduate/early professional composers - $300 each
- Four professional composers (over age 30) - $500 each

All submissions must be made electronically. No hard copies will be accepted, nor will they be returned to the sender.

Each composer can submit a maximum of two works total. Composers can choose to submit either two works in the same category OR one work from one category with a second work from a different category.
